Okay...I'm going to be completely and totally honest. I'm struggling. I'm struggling spiritually and emotionally.

Why is it so hard for us to admit to others when we struggle? Isn't that why we have Christian friends?? So that when we are at our low points in life and we just need a little help we have someone we can talk to and pray with?!?!

I know the answer for me. Its a simple five letter word. Pride. Okay April....get a know what the bible know what you have to do. Why does it seem so difficult?!?!

I just want Jesus. That's all I want. Jesus to wrap His arms around me and wipe my tears and lift me up. HELLO!!!... I have to LET him. I can WANT all day long but until I actually surrender myself and LET Him have HIS way I'll be stuck in a rut, all by myself.

I was watching a video clip of Joyce Meyer today and something she said really stuck out to me and I'd like to share it.:

Many times we pray for God to perform a miracle. A miracle of healing, financial relief, family and friend troubles, etc. etc. Most often, God will not perform this great miracle. He wants us to take His hand and walk through the valley with Him and let Him teach us and show us things we would never learn if we were just given instant relief.

This definitely got my attention. It changed my attitude and my way of thinking. I want to learn something through all of this Lord. Show me. I'm ready to follow you through this valley.

So, please pray for me, as me and Jesus walk through this valley. I know he'll use this to show me something if I'll let him.

  1. Praying for you sweetie as you go through these valley times, going through some of those myself. Father God is carrying us dear, please remember that. Much love to you.

  2. You know I'm praying for you sweetie. Joyce is dead on! It's wisdom to walk with and you're right often people find it hard to admit the struggles. Often it's due to fear of judgment, rejection or misunderstanding. It's always good to have the "faithful few" around you that will pray with or for you and love you even if it's necessary to bring loving correction through the compassion and truth of the HOLY SPIRIT. Other times you need them to just be silent and pray for you and be a shoulder for you.

You are precious to the LORD and to many including me (smile). Hold on the LORD sees, cares and is near to you. Your struggle is in His Him...walk with Him...cry out unto Him and meditate on HIS TRUTH and not on the situation or circumstance.

Easy to do? No. Doable? Yes as we genuinely cast that care down at the feet of Jesus. Oh we may pick it back up a time or two sadly but be quick to cast it back down again and determine to leave it there and then...refresh in the LORD.

His plan for you is greater than your minds eye or even the minds eye of others can see in your life. Trust HIM.

I love you and I'm praying for you.

  3. "Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." (Psalms 55:22)

  4. Praying for you! And looking forward to getting to know you better! May today you feel God's presence like never before and you feel peace and love all around!
